Pigs
Holztiger and Ostheimer have got pigs and wild boars figures in their product range. The animals are made of wood. Due to their shapes and sizes they are suitable for children's hands.
The wild boar
The wild boar has a broad living area. You can find them in forests in the Netherlands, Germany, Europe but also in rain forrests in for example indonesia. Is there an open space in the forrest? You wil find wild boars there, especially if there is still water. The dirtier the water, the more the boar likes it. They eat food by rooting their noses in the ground. They are omnivores, they eat everyting; from chestnuts and grass to insect larvae and even birds.
