Article 1 - Definitions

In these terms the following is to be understood as:

1. Period of reflection: the term in which the consumer can use his right to withdraw;
2. Consumer: the natural person who is not acting in the exercise of a profession or business and who enters into a distance contract with the entrepeneur;
3. Day: calendar day;
4. Duration contracts: a distance contract concerning a series of products and/or services, of which the dispatch obligation and/or the purchase obligation is spread over time;
5. Durable medium: every tool that empowers the consumer or the entrepeneur to save information that is personally adressed to him, in a way that makes future consultation and unaltered reproduction of the saved information possible;
6. Right of withdrawal: the option of the consumer to give up the distance contract within the period of reflection; 
7. Entrepeneur: the natural or legal person who offers products and/or services at a distance to consumers;
8. Distance contract: a contract concluded between the trader and the consumer under an organised distance sales or service-provision scheme without the simultaneous physical presence of the trader and the consumer, with the exclusive use of one or more means of distance communication up to and including the time at which the contract is concluded;
9. Means of distance communication: medium which can be used for entering into an agreement, without the consumer and the entrepeneur having to be in the same room at the same time.

Article 3 - Applicability

1. These terms and conditions apply to every offer of the entrepeneur and to every accomplished distance contract between entrepeneur and consumer. 
2. Before the distance contract is closed, the document of these terms and conditions will be made available for the consumer. In case this reasonably is not possible, it will be pointed out before the distance contract is closed, that the terms and conditions can be looked into at the entrepeneur and that they, upon request of the consumer,  can be send forward free of charge as soon as possible.
